A Christmas Quote

I came across this Christmas quote given by a previous leader of our church, and was very touched by it.  What if each of us just did one thing one this list this Christmas season, or one a week, or even better...one a day.  The world would be such a brighter and happier place.  I know it wouldn't solve all of our everyday problems, but it sure would make our day a little happier, I think.  Anyway....

Please remember: "This Christmas, mend a quarrel.  Seek out a forgotten friend.  dismiss suspicion and replace it with trust.  Write a letter.  Give a soft answer.  Encourage youth.  Manifest your loyalty in word and deed.  Keep a promise.  Forgo a grudge.  Forgive an enemy.  Apologize.  Try to understand.  Examine your demands on others.  Think first of someone else.  Be kind.  Be gentle.  Laugh a little more.  Express your gratitude.  Welcome a stranger.  Gladden the heart of a child.  Take pleasure in the beauty and wonder of the earth.  Speak your love and then speak it again."

The Gifts of Christmas, President Howard W. Hunter

I hope this holiday season is a wonderful time for you!
Love,
The Sissies!
